Welcome!

My name is Amanda, and my husband, Ryan, and I are the people behind Pickled Oak!

I began my business a few years ago when my mom was having a hard time finding unique custom gifts for her real estate clients. She wanted something personal, but also wanted to find something she could easily replicate for future clients. I made her a Home Sweet Home sign with the coordinates of their new home on it and she LOVED it. She brought it into her office – other realtors saw the sign and asked her where she purchased it. Within a few weeks, we had numerous realtors from her office ordering from us regularly! So many of the realtors commented on how our wood signs were such impactful gifts, even more so than other gifts that cost significantly more. We knew other busy professionals could use our help, too.

I also work for a financial advisor who regularly sends his clients gifts for various life events such as retirement, a wedding, or the birth of a child. I began making personalized gifts for his clients with the goal of keeping him top of mind and providing referral opportunities. Before we knew it, we had other advisors looking for help with their client gifts as well.

We’ve come a long way since then, expanding our materials and even offering branded items. The core reason I began this business has not changed though: I love helping people give gifts that are personal and thoughtful. We hope to work with you!
